I follow a history crushes blog, and the mod said in a post recently that she wishes they received fan fiction submissions. I have some work to do, namely improve my writing skill and start researching about Wordsworth and Coleridge. I could totally write an angsty fic about how Coleridge’s opium addiction was destroying their relationship.

In lieu of a paper, I sometimes wish I could just hand in five pages that say, “Here is my great idea for a fan fiction about two prominent people in your field of study, and here are a bunch of Corgi photos, and look, it’s Ellen DeGeneres!” and just get a good grade.
