turns out Canadians STILL don’t like it when you make fun of Alan Thicke

I hope that Matthew Gray Gubler puts together a book called Don’t Insult Alan Thicke that is just a collection of photos where Canadian Mounties appear to be dragging him away from various establishments.

Join the National Park Service as at Alexander Hamilton’s Harlem home to celebrate his life and legacy.
A living historian portraying Hamilton will talk with visitors, sharing his experiences and contributions to the founding of the America we know today
Alexander Hamilton’s Birthday Celebration January 14, 2012 at 10 – 1 p.m.

Check it out.

If anyone is going to be in the New York area this upcoming weekend, you should go to this! It sounds amazing, but unfortunately I have a prior obligation. (Grr…)
This sounds so cool! Maybe I can do a two-for-one speaker series at school, with John Waters and Alexander Hamilton.
They go together like PB & J, right?

I am a firm believer that pairing people up makes things easier to remember.
Lewis and Clark? Oh, they went across America to explore the terrain and their love!

Oh Mr. Adams, at least you had a kickass wife! Spring cleaning with HBO’s John Adams playing in the background = best thing ever. I will never get tired of watching Stephen Dillane in a cravat, waistcoat, and stockings. NEVAR.

At least I’m not the only one that acknowledges TJ’s sexiness! I don’t care if you needed the stitching on the outside of your pants because your skin would be irritated, you are still gorgeous in my book!
EDIT: I didn’t realize at first read that this was referencing the HBO mini-series and not actual history, but I still stand by what I said.

Poinsettias, originally called cuitlaxochitl in Nahuatl, were introduced to the United States in the 1820s by Joel Roberts Poinsett, the country’s first minister to Mexico and the flower’s American namesake. The plant itself is native to Mexico and Central America, where it has been used as part of Christmas celebrations since the 17th century. Before that, the plant and its flowers were used by the Aztecs/Mexicas for medicinal purposes and as a source of red dye.

Fun Christmas Fact! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!
